SAN FRANCISCO,
BUT DIFFERENT
Seven hills. Red bridge. Yellow trams. If you were thinking San Francisco you were wrong. Like SF, Lisbon was built on seven hills and has its own bright red suspension bridge, but unlike San Francisco it is super affordable and the weather is better. That’s why Lisbon is home to the second Hans Brinker Hostel.
From here, it’s easy to grab a metro to visit Belem, Alfama and other attractions, or stay and enjoy Hans Brinker’s third-class inflatable rooftop pool, surround-sound air conditioning noise, and plenty of beverages to help you forget all that. The Hans Brinker Lisbon Experience is authentic and beyond the expected or the ordinary. Located next to the Parque Eduardo VII, it’s a perfect starting point for your high-end holiday lacking most luxuries.

INSIDER INFO
Go where the locals go to: Check out 'Alfarroba', a good vegetarian restaurant in the hostel's neighboorhood.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
STICK TO THE HANSBRINKER BUDGET
A trip from the Lisbon airport to the Hans Brinker Hostel Lisbon will probably be one
of the easiest trips you ever made. Tourist busses depart regularly from the airport and for €3,15 they drop you off at our front door at bus stop ‘Picoas’.
In case your budget is even tighter, take the metro: take the red line from the airport to Saldanha Station, change to the yellow line (towards Rato), get off at Picoas station and you're already there for €1,40.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
TAKE A RIDE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN YOUR ENTIRE STAY
Then again, Lisbon also is a place of affordable luxury: taxis are still delightfully cheap. A trip from the airport to our front door only costs €15,00.
